Homework can ruin a school year for you.
I have a friend who had so much homework that she never got to have a lot of time to hang out with friends. I would come up with a system where you work until you can't concentrate or till it is time for a break then get a snack or call a friend for about 30 mins. or so, then start working again. it works for me but you should experiment with different tecniques.

Well its summer and if you're going to the beach then there are a few things you need to bring.
1. bathing suit- You probably wouldn't be at the beach without one anyway
2. sunscreen- You don't want to get too tan and look like an oompalumpa
3. A laptop- So you can read this blog
here are a few things that you need to watch out for at the beach
1. oil- don't want to end up like all those dead birds
2. sharks- did I even need to put this on here?
3. computer viruses- You still need to be able to read my blog

To My Friends
To all my friends reading this;
as you know, the year is almost over. And by now you have already survived middle school once. I am making this blog to relate my own personal experiences (and yours, you can post stories under comments) to things that can help you survive.I hope you enjoy,

Cliques!
How many of you have been excluded by a particular group of kids?
Yeah, i thought so. Well I can honestly say "it sucks!" The one thing I noticed was that even if it did feel bad to be excluded, I didn't really like the way they treated me anyway. But I know that you have to figure that out on your own. So all i can say on the matter is... don't EVER let them know that you are desperate to be in their group. Have tons of fun with the people that like you for who you are. As my mom once said, "Sooner or later they will all start fighting, and who is the one girl [or boy] that they will all want to be their friend?"

Teachers...What can you do?
Trust me, middle school teachers are hard work;
I can only think of a few ways to help you with them because they are all sooooo different. Some teachers say that they need to prepare us for college when they only need to prepare us for the next grade. Some teachers are so fun and outgoing that they are kind of scary (i like these teachers a lot because they are usually just teasing you). There are the younger teachers that can easily relate to you. The nicest kind of teacher for a somewhat shy kid like me is an older teacher who likes to know her students and treat them like family. The only thing to do with most teachers is to just do the right thing. (I know I probably sound like your grandma, but it's true.) Teachers usually separate good kids from bad kids at the very beginning of the year, so if you want to be on their good side do stuff that will help you be a "good kid".
